Item Preset Preparation
To create item presets, set up your character's active inventory as you want it, then access any box, choose the "Item Presets" option, followed by "Register Preset". Select a slot to save your preset and optionally name it.
Slots 1 through 4 correspond to pressing L1/L2/R1/R2 or F/Ctrl/C/Shift while interacting with a box. This means after a quest, you can simply run up to a box, interact, and press L1 or F to instantly equip your preset from Slot 1.
If you have a subscription, you’ll have an additional 20 preset slots. Access these by going to the "Item Presets" option and selecting "Equip Preset". Slots 5 through 24 don’t have keyboard or controller shortcuts and must be equipped manually.
Gunners should buy all standard shots and coatings, as well as the materials needed to combine into various ammo types and coatings. These items are available from both the General Store NPC and the Combiner NPC next to her.
